Description
A family man, overloaded work named Bob Munro (Robin Williams), his wife Jamie (Cheryl Hines), their daughter 15 years old Cassie (Joanna "JoJo" Levesque) and their son 12 years Carl (Josh Hutcherson) feel an urgent need to spend time together.
After he promised he would lead the family on a vacation in Hawaii, Bob abruptly changes the plan, but without telling anything. Bob's plan to reunite the family (which is partly a ruse to help him not to lose his job) in a common experience and journey beginning immediately turns into a terrible failure. Everything can be worse happens. Bob's lame attempts to drive the vehicle and massive greoiul are received with silence and mocking of his family who is not happy with what is happening. Life in a caravan is far less comfortable than their life in Los Angeles and every attempt Bob makes the holiday spirit to also cover his, there is a danger that the trip has become a fiasco.

At a camping caravan, Munro family meets Gornicke family - a clan annoying, ranging from those who spend their holidays in the caravan all the time, but eventually win the sympathy of the family Munro. As they try to escape Gornicke family, their fates even more hair are made to intersect. But adversity has a quality in uniting even the most dysfunctional members and families and every obstacle that Munro family lives in a strange way help them become a true family again.
